Pinterest login: How to Log In to Pinterest
How to Log In to Pinterest It’s easy to get started on Pinterest, whether you’re using the mobile app or the website on your computer. Just follow these steps to set up your profile and start discovering ideas that inspire you!
Get Started
To get started on Pinterest, you can log in with your email address or create a free account. If you have a business website, you should create a business account because it gives you access to your analytics, insights, and other tools for running a successful company page. After signing up (or signing in), follow any of these five steps:
1. Explore Boards: Once logged in, make sure you take some time to explore boards that are relevant to your industry and products or services offered by your company.
2. Post Some Pins: Add a few pins from your own site onto relevant boards so users can discover them and follow them back if they like what they see.
3. Reply to Comments and Reply to Repins: Interact with your followers! You can reply directly through repinning items you find relevant or through commenting.
4. Set Up Your Business Page(s): The best way to start building a following is by connecting your brand’s website through linking with pages on Facebook and Twitter, whether personal accounts or company pages.
5. Create Pin Reels: To drive traffic back to their websites, many brands will group several pins together into pin reels – collages of images designed to show off product lines or interesting content related to topics associated with their brand overall.
Create an Account
The first step toward using Pinterest for business is creating a free account. If you already have an account, skip ahead. To register, start by entering your email address and clicking Continue. You'll then be prompted to provide a username, password, and your name. After you do so, your profile will be complete!
Use Your Pinterest Account
If you have a business account, make sure you use it. If you don’t yet have one but want to start an account on Pinterest, check out their Terms of Service for information on how. To keep your content from being removed, try your best to follow everything in Pinterest’s Community Guidelines and be sure not to violate any copyright laws with images that aren’t yours or that aren’t public domain. Also, don’t forget your username and password; without them, you won't be able to log in or change anything within your account.
Maintain Your Account
If you're a business or brand owner, you might have found yourself wondering how to sign up for a Pinterest account. You're in luck. Here's how. First, head over to Pinterest and click on your profile icon in the top right corner. This will open up a drop-down menu. Select Settings from the menu and then click on Create an Account. Fill out your account information carefully, making sure all of your details are correct and current. Once you've successfully created an account, you'll be ready to start using Pinterest for Business.
Stay Safe on Pinterest
If you have a business page on Pinterest, it’s important to stay safe on Pinterest. You need to protect your content from being repinned without your permission. If you do not want your content repinned or used by others, make sure that when setting up any type of profile (business, personal, etc.) that you choose private instead of public. This will stop others from taking your images and putting them on their own boards. The other part is to watermark your images with a prominent logo and/or website information (on all types of platforms) so no one steals them for their own use. So stay safe out there!
Get Noticed
There are a few different ways you can get noticed on Pinterest. First, you can pay for Promoted Pins. These are paid pins that show up higher in your followers’ feeds based on how relevant they are. Second, cross-promote other social media profiles you own. Third, and most importantly, provide value. If you have something interesting or funny to say, share it with others; if people like what they see (or read), they will continue coming back for more. You don’t need a business account to get started on Pinterest; however, if you do have one, that is a great way to track your progress as well as connect with other users and businesses who share common interests or goals with you.
Build an Audience
If you want people to find your business on Pinterest, you need to build an audience and get active. You can start by joining a group or two (or 20!) that have something in common with your target market. Then, add as many pins as possible to start building your following or circle: when someone clicks on one of your pins, it shows up in their feed and they can follow you back. You can also use Promoted Pins; we explain how here.
